All tucked in

Undoubtedly, skirts never fail to enhance the female body, however wearing trousers is a very different story. Unless you know how to select the right trousers for your body and outfit, then you can look just as feminine and gorgeous than wearing skirts.
High waisted chino trousers from Mango
Something which I am seeing everywhere in stores, magazines, blogs and TV are the chino/ tapered/ pleated trousers and even hareems (which many shy away from). One major feature which I encourage all the time on tapered trousers is to wear the (high) waisted ones where yes your top gets tucked in! It's stylish and it makes your waist look smaller. They can be worn very smartly to work in a stylish and fashionable way which I believe that more women should wear!

Sex and the city 2

I hope that everyone had a meaningful, relaxing and lovely Christmas and hopefully grabbed their opportunity at the sales which started on Boxing Day.

I watched Sex and the City 2 late last night and two words to describe my instant reaction: LOVE IT

It will particularly appeal to the fashionable, materialist and scenic loving people because the shots of how Abu Dhabi was perceived in the film are incredible! I must add great emphasis on the hotel in which the 4 girls stayed at! What of course took me most away was the clothes and the numerous outfits scene after scene! Gorgeous louboutins, silk cream hareems and beautiful maxi dresses, especially the one which Carrie wore in the official advertisement of the posters. I love the closet in Big and Carrie's apartment (favourite feature of course) because it was bright, had large Mirrors, double doors and you could feel the lovely atmosphere which a pile of clotheS brings to you. The outfits are definitely better than the first, I loved the creative use of the hats and a cameo of Penelope Cruz acting as a banker shows the effort and star quality the film brought. As usual and always, Cruz was effortlessly stunning (not fair, but since when was life ever that way?)

It was a very funny film, but I think I can say that because I am easily pleased! Largely entertaining and keeps me grounded to be devoted to fashion, personality and creativity! For those who haven't watched it, nows the time to BUY it because it will be the puchase well worth the money than any other fashion, chic, comedy film.

BOOKMARC

Yes, it really is a Marc Jacobs book store

It really is a bookshop with books in, smile to that!
Opening the shop and I'm in love with him :P

The coolest notebooks you will ever come across

Stylish large tin pencil case

More lovely notebooks
Visit the Marc Jacobs website to see what other cool things they have in the store. This includes pencil cases, colouring pencils and BOOKMARC totes to put your lovely books in! It is in the 'special items' section, but please note, not everything listed is in the BOOKMARC store.

The store is at:
400 Bleecker Street
West 11th
New York 10014-2452

This will certainly be my new destination to shop for stationary and books. It sounds and looks very cool to go to, and it has also been said that Marc Jacobs may open up a cafe or a restaurant! What can't this awesome stylish and lovable man do?

Women in black

The photos below show that dressing all in black does not have to give the impression that you are "emo" or "gothic" which people tend to shy away from. You can pull it off in a way that shows you are sophistacated, sexy and confident. Black is a classic colour and will never fail to make a great presence of yourself in a crowd! Photos below from Caroline's Mode proves the power and fantastic style which just the colour black itself can bring!

My favourite - this woman looks classy, smart and confident at the same time

Showing how black looks great by a cool and casual style

This woman has really made her mark with the colour by working with the shades of black.
She looks very charismatic here

I love this. Black shows it can be sweet, practical and complimentary.

She is the bomb for red hair

She pulls off green amazingly well (compliments her skin tone)

And of course is gorgeous and has an amazing figure

New Emporio Armani blazer for sale

Brand New Emporio Armani blazer, size 44
RRP£419 but I'm selling for £120
(see below pics for more details on item and to buy)

The red marker over the label is normal as it was like this on hundreds of other clothes in the store. It was like this on all clothes because it was from a special sale to reduce the potential of a resale, however I'm offering the opportunity for someone to have this blazer and it is completely brand new in perfect condition. It is 100% Genuine I can assure you. I will never mislead you into this and so please rest assured that this is pure Emporio Armani of the highest quality bought straight from the company.

The size is 44 (as said on the tags) which is equivalent to the UK size 16.
It does come with the official brand tags and a certificate of authentication. I can send you pictures of this when requested. You may be able to see it on the photos. It is a beautiful misty grey and the lining is extremely soft which represents sheer quality.

The RRP is £419, however I am selling this for £120 (I can negotiate, however this is a complete bargain considering the Official store price)

Payment methods include postal cheque, paypal or direct debit. Once money is received, I will post the item within three days and it will be a recorded postal service sent by Royal Mail second class to UK buyers and Airsure for international buyers. Postage costs £4 (for UK and worldwide) :D

If you are interested in buying this, then please contact me by email on the left handside bar. I respond and check my emails everyday so you can be sure of a quick response. Please be confident and the sale of this item will be available as long as this post is open, so if this post is no longer here, it means the item has been sold. Thank You!

My EA7 jacket

Not long ago, I went to an Armani Sample Sale in London (my first ever) and managed to get a really nice cropped sports jacket from Emporio Armani at the cheapest price you could possibly think of! Unfortunately, most of the clothes were very large sizes and much of the styling was not to my taste. It wasn't typical runway pieces, trust me, even the best fashionistas would agree with me. It was not that great (i'll have another go next time) but it was the prices which really appealed to me. Anyway, I also got another few items but they're quite basic pieces. I just thought it'd be nice to share with you because it is certainly a very prized piece of mine at the moment :P I must admit though that there were several lovely detailed and oriental styled blazers which were stunning. I even managed to find a purple quilted jacket which was gorgeous and somehow I regret not buying it as it was literally the only other jacket which fitted me!

Gold gift from Estee Lauder

Eyeshadow set, Blush set, 4 matte lipstick, 2 gloss lipstick, 3 brushes and 3 eyeliners (i lost the black one silly me) and a mirror without forgetting the gold cosmetic case and the lovely box!

I forgot that this also came with the gift ;-) sorry, i'm so forgetful!

I had a little play with the make up - it's EXTREMELY subtle, because I'm not a massive fan on using really heavy make up. You probably hardly see any distinct change or appearance because I was aiming for an extremely natural look and I know my skin isn't perfect (i'm working on that) but I wasn't also aiming for a particularly flawless look. I'll try that though perhaps next time. Anyway, I did use a little of the pink blush but a little. I did use the grey eyeliner which I ADORE (may i stress :D) and the lipstick

Oxford blanketed in snow

I apologise for the quality of the pictures. I had forgotten my camera when I came out, so I used my phone instead which as you can tell, consists of poor quality, but i just thought it would be rather nice to share the rather rare scene we get in Oxford because it's not too often it snows. Since the impact of global warming, snow is becoming increasingly more frequent during the colder seasons though! However this is especially good news as I'll be experiencing (hopefully) my first ever white Christmas in Oxford where I have grown up and lived in literally for most of my life. Snow never fails to give the Christmas festive spirit after all :)

Bodycon

I love how bodycon works for anything and looks great all the time. From Alexa's casual wear of it is inspirational because the sequinned skirt makes the outfit look effortless with the 'worn' top. It's so simple, its great! We go down to more detailed bodycon dresses and I think Dakota on the last photo really pulls off the dress extremely well because leopard print is all that you need, especially when she is gorgeous herself and clearly there is no need for a jacket or extravagant accessories. My particular favourite is the third one because I love detail and embroidery. The garment is beautiful from all angles and the effort put into making it has totally paid off. Gold and black are classic colours which complement each other like no other colour and the lace sleeves give it that extra twist to emphasise the detailed patterns on the skirt. Bodycon is definitely the way to go, something which has emerged and a trend which will continue to emerge as it shows off wonders of the female figure.

Egyptian perfumes

These were bought from a holiday in Egypt back in around 2004 by my mother. I had just noticed them hiding away in the cupboard and had forgotten how amazing their smell was. They really do deserve recognition and smell just as good as the designer brands which everyone goes for. My favourites go to the Lotus flower (the amber colour is gorgeous) and the Secret of the desert gives of a smell which reminds me of home. It is a floral and natural smell and to have all the bottles completely full will sure to have them last me for years to come. I believe you can still purchase them somewhere, but they're not very well known brands as these were bought from a local Egyptian shop (either in Luxor or Cairo - it was a long time ago). They are certainly amazing secret and hidden perfumes which deserve more recognition than Chanel No.5. Simply divine, you have no idea.

Olivia Morris

The most gorgeous brogues I believe I will ever come across. They come at a hefty price, but the detail and the design is simply beautiful and so original. They come in more colours, but I just thought I could show you the ones which particularly caught my eye. What I love most is the velvet lace and the lovely shoe base (epitomises brogue quality).
