Bobbi Brown

Review

I bought these two items in Selfridges on Christmas Eve! I've always dreamed of getting Bobbi Brown after hearing unbelievable amounts of great reviews and now I have the actual products to see for myself.
Obviously, when wearing foundation I must always wear primer beforehand. These two things are like a pair inseparable and the pot of cream above is the Bobbi Brown hydrating cream/moisturiser which can also be used as a primer.
The cream is excellent and contains natural ingredients. e.g. algae extract. It leaves my face moisturised and soft for the whole day when applied once in the morning which is perfect for me because it means I don't have to touch up on my make up. It's a beautiful pot may I say with a lovely Royal like badge imprinted on the lid! I love detail :). Anyway, i find that the skin absorbs the cream very well and it is not watery. It is of a medium thick consistency which makes the product last longer on the skin!

The foundation (most important product) is flawless! As Bobbi said, her foudations are yellow based colours. I could see that very clearly when I first applied the foundation, however, it did not make my face go yellow. When I saw the yellow tint, I was a bit frightened at first because I thought my face would look quite fake, however when I actually blended it in with my skin and properly smoothed the foundation out, my face looked extremely natural and flawless! A little definitely goes a long way! Don't be fooled by the colour you see at first because the colours definitely do become natural and match with your skin tone eventually! Better than any other foundation I have tried so far and I recommend this to everyone. The foundation is called Skin Foundation SPF15. I'm glad there is SPF because it means I don't have to add greasy sun lotion on my face. The foundation is for normal/dry/combination skin. There are other Bobbi Brown products for oily skin as well!
